. This species is easily recognized by having the tergal process with dense tuft of setae located very laterally, the dorsal margin of harpe very wide, the basivolsella with spines, the basidorsal corner of digitus strongly projected and inner median filament aligned with aedeagal dorsal lobes.

. Head. Mandible with two distal teeth. Median clypeal lobe trapezoidal, with one rounded tooth; incomplete apically, straight in profile or nearly so. Frons coriaceous, punctures small and dense. Vertex crest weakly incurved. Dorsal pronotal area with anterior margin coarse. Tergal process lateral, with dense tuft of setae inside of shallow depression. Posterior hypopygeal margin straight or nearly so. Genitalia. Harpe entirely wide, apical margin truncate, abaxial margin not projected; gonostipes shorter than harpe, ventral margin not excavated until outer margin of basivolsella; digitus short, basidorsal corner strongly projected; basivolsella without protuberance with spines; aedeagal ventral valve with apex posterior to apex of dorsal one, wide, progressively narrowing apicad; inner margin outcurved; outer margin slightly sinuous, slightly curved laterad; aedeagal dorsal valve narrow, with two pairs of apical lobe; outer lobe short, very narrow, apical margin straight and posterad; apex of inner median filament anterior to apex of lobe, directed posterad; basal cover plate entirely wide, posterior margin straight or nearly so; apodeme extending beyond genital ring.
