Costae 2–3 unclearly subdivided into two stripes jointed past middle; intervals 1–3 and elytra suture, bearing white large dense scales; interval 4 with yellow narrow scales; epipleura bear short and dense yellow hairlake scales, one row of narrow yellow scales in male and epipleura bearing white, large scales in female. Male genitalia: long and simple; basal part longer, asymmetric paramere; left paramere usually bigger and longer than right; curved at tips and very short piled beneath.

Intervals 1–3 contain large, oval, imbricating white scale filling also interval 2 within costae 2–3 and mesial part of interval 2 within costa 4; interval 4 and lateral part of interval 2 within costa 4 contain short beige setae; epipleura contains beige hairs about 3x longer than setae, most of them recumbent but some erect; and elytra suture contains narrow white to yellowish-white scales only about one-half as large as those in intervals 1–3. Male genitalia: parameres equal length, with abruptly constricted short distal sections curving to right and have truncate tips; left tip may or may not be slightly bulbous.

The apparent divergence of the tip of the parameres, particularly of the left one, is a result of the flexion of the moderately sclerotized parameres along their own longitudinal axis, which is why some parameres appear to be narrower and more sharply pointed while others are wider and more convex at apex (see
