Head dichoptic; all body hairs black; both sexes with 2 proclinate orbital setae; arista short plumose; abdomen black, without pruinosity; fore tibia with 1 posterior seta; hind tibia with 2 preapical dorsal setae; scutellum with 3 pairs of marginal scutellar setae: basal, subapical and apical setae; parafacial haired; wing rather weakly tinged with pale brown apically; male claws and pulvilli shorter than 5th tarsomere.

Head black in ground color, gena broadly reddish-brown, occiput shiny black; whitish pruinosity on parafacial, face and gena, dark grayish pruinosity on fronto-orbital plate, no pruinosity on occiput; antenna black except dark brown arista; palpus black. Vertex about 0.3 of head width; frontal vitta nearly parallel-sided, slightly narrower than fronto-orbital plate at middle; face only slightly shorter than frons in profile; parafacial well narrowed below, about 2/3 as wide as postpedicel at mid height; gena 0.250.29 of eye height. Inner vertical seta strong, about 3/4 as long as eye height; outer vertical seta slightly more than 1/3 length of inner vertical seta; ocellar setae fine, about as long as outer vertical seta; 1 outwardly-directed prevertical seta, about 2/3 as long as inner vertical seta; 2 proclinate orbital setae, anterior seta stronger, about 2/3 as long as inner vertical seta; 57 frontal setae, lowest seta nearly level with base of scape; parafrontal with 12 rows of short, fine, black hairs on lower 3/5, descending to parafacial at level of lower margin of eye; gena with 23 rows of fine, short, black hairs on lower 1/2; occiput with rather dense, short, black hairs, several pale brownish hairs on upper median portion of postgena. Base of antenna nearly level with middle of eye height; antenna falling only slightly short of lower margin of face; pedicel with a long seta about twice as long as pedicel; postpedicel about 4.5 times as long as pedicel; arista rather short plumose, total width including plumosity about 2/3 of width of postpedicel. Palpus about 2/3 as long as postpedicel. Eye bare.

Thorax black in ground color, with dense, grayish-white pruinosity on anterodorsal portion of presutural scutum including postpronotal lobe, and with thin, grayish pruinosity on other portion of presutural area and entire postsutural scutum; pruinosity indistinct on scutellum; pleura with rather thin, grayish-white pruinosity. One presutural acrostichal seta; 2 presutural and 3 postsutural dorsocentral setae; 2 postsutural intra-alar setae; 2 katepisternal setae; scutellum with 3 pairs of marginal setae, basal setae slightly less than twice length of scutellum, subapical setae about 3 times as long as scutellum and apical setae slightly shorter than basal setae.

Abdomen slender, nearly cylindrical, shiny black, without pruinosity. Syntergite 1+2 with 12 lateral discal setae, 1 pair of median marginal setae and a single lateral marginal seta on each side, without median discal setae; 3rd tergite with a pair of median discal setae, a pair of median marginal setae and 2 lateral marginal setae on each side; 4th tergite with a pair of median discal setae, 01 (fine) lateral discal setae and a row of marginal setae; 5th tergite with a pair of median discal setae, 2 short lateral discal setae and a row of marginal setae; 5th sternite with posterointerior corner of posterior lobe not pointed.
<emphasis id="E2CA1B4DFF94D926E6BB7BC5FC94278C" box="[670,792,1231,1257]" italics="true" pageId="10" pageNumber="411">Terminalia</emphasis>
: Sixth tergite entire, with a pair of long hairs; surstylus broad in lateral view, posterior margin evenly curved along posterior portion, with rather long hairs; cerci in dorsal view broad basally and strongly narrowed along basal 1/3, then weakly narrowed to apex, mid-dorsal longitudinal suture obliterated along basal 1/3, narrowly separated along apical 1/3, in lateral view well curved ventrally along apical 3/4, apex weakly reflexed; pregonite flat; postgonite not extending beyond apex of epiphallus; basiphallus 1/2 as long as distiphallus; dorsal sclerite of distiphallus flat, distal membranous portion slightly shorter than basal portion.
