<paragraph id="992FD66EFFBCFFDBFE81777B9F0E1F96" blockId="6.[264,1324,678,1870]" pageId="6" pageNumber="23">Gonopods with syncolpocoxites elongate, tapering, “thumb” of usual mitten­shaped structure absent, separated by high V­shaped cleft; process class I, arising from the notch between syncolpocoxites and curving dorsad between angiocoxites, in anterior view broadened distally, deeply notched apically forming two subtriangular lobes. Median angiocoxite with strong subapical spine directed mesad. Lateral angiocoxite separated from median by a relatively shallow, U­shaped cleft, broad at base, tapering and curving mesad, meeting that of other side at midpoint of gonopod and extending to about lateral margin of syncolpocoxites. Leg 9 with distal 3 segments well formed and apparently functional, single claw present.</paragraph>

The millipeds in Keyhole Cave were taken from pitfall traps placed in riparian mudbanks and baited with limburger cheese spread. The cave occurs in the western side of the Sequatchie Valley at the base of the Cumberland Escarpment.
