. In New Brunswick, large numbers (many specimens were not vouchered) of adults were captured in a white pine stand, mostly in the canopy. This species was also common in a jack pine stand but uncommon in a red pine forest. These data suggest that white pine may be the preferred host in New Brunswick. This species has a long flight season in New Brunswick from early July to mid-October.
