<paragraph pageId="211" pageNumber="212">This subspecies, also known as the &quot;Variable Tiger Beetle&quot;, ranges from northwestern Ontario (Lawton 2008: 73) to southeastern Saskatchewan, south to northwestern Nebraska [see Johnson 1990b: Fig. 1]. The record from Minnesota (Horn 1928: 12) needs confirmation.</paragraph>
