Superior appendages well developed in lateral view, each tapering from base towards apex, divided into one narrow dorsomesal branch and one broad ventrolateral branch subapically; dorsomesal branch sclerotized and bare, acute in lateral view, ventrolateral branch setose about twice as wide as upper branch in lateral view (Fig.
