. He apparently did not have any examples in front of him as he gave no further description or figures, as almost certainly he would have had he actually seen any material.

was supposedly in the collection of the Museum Koenig, Bonn,

. In an attempt to obtain examples so that the species could be illustrated in more detail, I contacted authorities at this museum. Dr. Netta Dorchin, the curator in charge, was unable to locate any examples in their collection. She also wrote colleagues in
<collectingCountry id="F3787606FFF19B660195C927407CFAE0" box="[974,1090,1378,1402]" name="Denmark" pageId="5" pageNumber="4">Denmark</collectingCountry>
and
<collectingCountry id="F3787606FFF19B6606DFC92740DCFAE0" box="[1156,1250,1378,1402]" name="Sweden" pageId="5" pageNumber="4">Sweden</collectingCountry>
(where Esben- Petersen and Tjeder worked, respectively), with no positive results. I must assume, unfortunately, that the
<typeStatus id="54D48834FFF19B6602ABC9E6451BFA21" box="[240,293,1443,1467]" pageId="5" pageNumber="4">type</typeStatus>
series is lost, and the species will remain a
<emphasis id="B91BEA84FFF19B66011DC9E64017FA20" box="[838,1065,1442,1466]" italics="true" pageId="5" pageNumber="4">species inquirenda</emphasis>
, at least until new material is found from these regions in
<collectingCountry id="F3787606FFF19B66004EC9874659FA40" box="[533,615,1474,1498]" name="Sudan" pageId="5" pageNumber="4">Sudan</collectingCountry>
