Support for this group is provided by 81 apomorphies including twelve morphological and 69 molecular ones. Two morphological apomorphies are unequivocal: length of thigh increased (1: 0 to n) and supratemporal processes leave supraocciptal exposed above (61: z to a). There are 26 unequivocal molecular apomorphies (see Appendix II).
