Because Meek had collectors on both Misima and nearby Kimuta Island during the period

, a question arose concerning the

, as all of his specimens from both islands were labeled St. Aignan. However, Meek had also collected
<emphasis id="B91DEAC49EB210AAFC8B4D1F08BDFB9E" box="[834,921,1070,1091]" italics="true" pageId="173" pageNumber="174">onerosa</emphasis>
in August on Misima, and Hannibal Hamlin later collected it on Misima but not on the smaller islands nearby that he visited. It has not been reported from Kimuta.
