Coloration. Head, mesosoma, hind coxa, and ventral part of hind femur dark brown; wing veins brown, light brown at base of pterostigma; metasomal tergites mostly reddish-brown, with dark areas basally.

<paragraph id="8BCF214CFFD53B5F19BC7FA2FBA1F838" blockId="6.[151,1437,1589,2011]" pageId="6" pageNumber="325">Mesosoma. Mesosoma rather short and high, not well preserved and overlain by at least a fore wing, making interpretation of carinae somewhat difficult. Mesopleuron with epicnemical carina close to its front margin and probably meeting pronotum at mid-height; with a sinusoid line indicated which reaches from upper front corner to lower hind corner (might be an artefact). Metapleuron somewhat distorted, with pleural and submetapleural carinae complete. Propodeum with subcircular spiracle clearly shown, with complete lateral longitudinal carina, sublateral and probably also median portion of apical transverse carina and at least lateral portion of basal transverse carina; median part of propodeum not preserved, state of median longitudinal carinae unclear.</paragraph>

Fore wing 2.8× as long as wide; pterostigma 4.1× as long as wide; 1-Rs&amp;1-M almost straight; 1mcu&amp;2-Rs+M angled, but without any traces of 1-Rs+M; r-rs issues at mid-length of pterostigma, straight, 2.4× pterostigma width; areolet probably almost triangular, ~1.5× as long as wide, with 4-M very short; 2+3M 1.8× 2- Rs, 1.2× r-m. Hind wing not well preserved, veins unclear.</paragraph>

Metasoma. Metasoma probably depressed on most of its length, but with apex somewhat compressed, almost twice as long as mesosoma. T1 mostly covered by hind leg, but lateroventral and laterodorsal carinae present at base; following tergites transverse, T7 not conspicuously shorter than T6. Ovipositor sheaths at least

, which at the time was interpreted in a much broader sense than today; the fossil has not been revised since. The lateral part of the propodeal carination is visible in this specimen, with the pleural, lateral longitudinal, and at least the sublateral portion of the apical transverse carinae present, forming part of the petiolar area. Unfortunately, the dorsal part of the propodeum is not preserved, but the correspondence of the fore wing venation, first metasomal tergite, robust ovipositor and thickened hind femur seem enough justification to place this species in the genus
