The scutellum of the new genus is with an additional (basal) pair of marginal setae. Its vein R4+5 is strongly upcurved and surstylus is long and slender. The other important features in the male genitalia: sternite 5 is large with a pair of broad medio-caudal processes, the subepandrial sclerite of
