. Integument reddishbrown to black. Frons and vertex (40×) densely punctate. Antennal tubercles indicated. Upper ocular lobes with five rows of ommatidia, separated by twice width of one lobe. Lateral area behind inferior lower ocular lobes and genae punctate. Gula punctate. Antennae reddishbrown; in males, reaching elytral apices approximately in middle of antennomere VIII; in females, approximately in apex of antennomere X. Scape subcylindrical and punctate. In males, antennomere III enlarged, narrowed at a short basal region, without carina, as long as twice length of IV, with long bristles, mainly on internal side; in females, antennomere III, without carina. Antennomere IV as long as two-thirds of V.

Pronotum punctate on sides, microsculptured in some areas; medially with low elevation and longitudinally smooth; base of pronotum with inconspicuous pubescence. Sides of prothorax and prosternum shining.</paragraph>
