Description.

</emphasis>
small (to 12.0 mm in total length), fusiform, truncated anteriorly, with a total of 8½ convex whorls, the last whorl approximately 52% of shell length; suture impressed, undulates over underlying ribs.
<emphasis id="B942EAC0FA1CFFD1CBAFBF3BFEF5F993" bold="true" box="[151,285,1568,1593]" italics="true" pageId="121" pageNumber="122">Protoconch</emphasis>
of 1½ smooth, glossy round whorls, the first not immersed in the second.
<emphasis id="B942EAC0FA1CFFD1CF42BF3BFAC5F993" bold="true" box="[1146,1325,1568,1593]" italics="true" pageId="121" pageNumber="122">Axial sculpture</emphasis>
of strong ribs; crests narrower on shoulder, rounder on whorl periphery; spaces between ribs about as wide as the ribs; ribs run from suture-to-suture, are slightly arcuate on the whorls shoulder, run to the anterior fasciole on the body whorl; 8 ribs on the penultimate whorl, 7 on the body whorl to the varix. Strong growth striae are present that run obliquely over the ribs, are arcuate on the whorls shoulder.
<emphasis id="B942EAC0FA1CFFD1C80EBFABFC99F963" bold="true" box="[822,881,1712,1737]" italics="true" pageId="121" pageNumber="122">Varix</emphasis>
larger than adjoining ribs, about twice the width, positioned about ⅓-turn from edge of outer lip.
<emphasis id="B942EAC0FA1CFFD1C98ABFCFFC83F947" bold="true" box="[690,875,1748,1773]" italics="true" pageId="121" pageNumber="122">Spiral sculpture</emphasis>
of closely packed, very fine microscopic grooves or threads, intersected by microscopic growth striae, the pattern of which is mostly worn off on the
<typeStatus id="548D8870FA1CFFD1CE36BFE3FA98F8BB" box="[1294,1392,1784,1809]" pageId="121" pageNumber="122" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
but distinct on the

indistinct, only the reduced, slightly recurved ribs and striae on the shoulder mark the prior positions of the anal sinus.
<emphasis id="B942EAC0FA1CFFD1C90CBE5BFD75F8F3" bold="true" box="[564,669,1856,1881]" italics="true" pageId="121" pageNumber="122">Outer lip</emphasis>
thin, flattened, with 2 strengthening axial folds; edge of lip forms a low arc from the anal sinus to the stromboid notch. Stromboid notch shallow.
<emphasis id="B942EAC0FA1CFFD1CF19BE7FFB48F8D7" bold="true" box="[1057,1184,1892,1917]" italics="true" pageId="121" pageNumber="122">Anal sinus</emphasis>
deep, with a rounded apex, and a flared inner edge; parietal callus causing it to be laterally directed.
<emphasis id="B942EAC0FA1CFFD1CF7FBE92FB5AF80B" bold="true" box="[1095,1202,1928,1953]" italics="true" pageId="121" pageNumber="122">Inner lip</emphasis>
margined, detached anteriorly, thin on the parietal wall, forming a low callus posteriorly, at the anal sinus; edge of lip shows layers from multiple depositions.
<emphasis id="B942EAC0FA1CFFD1CAAABECBFDA8F843" bold="true" box="[402,576,2000,2025]" italics="true" pageId="121" pageNumber="122">Anterior canal</emphasis>
short but well defined, open, deep and turned to the right when viewed ventrally; unnotched. Anterior fasciole slightly swollen, with 6 spiral ridges.

creamy white with 2 bands of dark reddish-brown, one on shoulder broken by ribs, second below the shells periphery, not broken by the ribs, and visible only on the body whorl.
