. The two specimens are female and belong to different species, the one with the longer horn of the first metasomal tergite agrees well with Jurines description, whereas, the other specimen on the same mount is not a

since the horn does not extend forward in front of the head. There are also four specimens standing over

and while Masner considered them syntypic and selected a

this designation is invalid since, as noted above, the
<typeStatus id="54AA8809FFF094646AFA8CD2FE3DFABF" box="[387,438,1276,1302]" pageId="17" pageNumber="18">type</typeStatus>
material can only be one
<typeStatus id="54AA8809FFF0946469928CD2FCDDFABF" box="[747,854,1276,1302]" pageId="17" pageNumber="18" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
. The best candidate for the
<typeStatus id="54AA8809FFF094646FE78CD2FA8EFABF" box="[1182,1285,1276,1302]" pageId="17" pageNumber="18" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
at present is the specimen with the longer horn in the MNHN. The
<typeStatus id="54AA8809FFF0946468588D0CFCDFFA95" box="[801,852,1314,1340]" pageId="17" pageNumber="18">type</typeStatus>
should be in Boscs collection because: it agrees well with the description; it was named after him; Bosc was known for making his collection available to others for study (

) and clearly had connections with Jurine; and it has good contemporary label data consistent with it being the
<typeStatus id="54AA8809FFF09464696C8DB8FDF4FA19" box="[533,639,1430,1456]" pageId="17" pageNumber="18" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
. It was not possible to see the MHNG specimens during the current study, so it is recommended here that a future reviser makes a detailed re-examination of the MNHN and MHNG specimens together to confirm the conclusion above.
