A moderately large black tiger beetle with white markings similar to those of

but with the body noticeably smaller in size (length only
<quantity id="4C819B0DFFABFFD5FC8E96A3FC0AF914" box="[874,996,1667,1691]" metricMagnitude="-2" metricUnit="m" metricValue="1.45" metricValueMax="1.6" metricValueMin="1.3" pageId="9" pageNumber="8" unit="mm" value="14.5" valueMax="16.0" valueMin="13.0">13-16 mm</quantity>
) and with the elytra somewhat more slender. Several of the female
