The habitat at the

locality and in the vicinity of Kañaris are croplands with scattered large boulders and bushes. Croplands are embedded in a matrix of shorter-stature and drier forest. However, the forest has been almost removed and only some small patches of secondary forest remain close to ravines. All individuals of
