under sealevel, a t the edge of a little plateau full of springs and marshes. The Jordan just east

The species (or at least with closely allied forms) has a wide range, reaching Queensland, the Phillipines and Formosa. It has been recorded by Campion from 'the Seychelles, but not, I think, from Continental Africa.</paragraph>
