Spinose pad ornamented with various sizes of spinules present ventrally between last 2 abdominal somites (

This species was described from Korean waters (Kim I.H. &amp; Moon, 2011). The caudal ramus of the single female specimen from

examined here is distinctly smaller than that of
<typeStatus id="603B882FFFEEFFFCFE78FC0CD0AD1ED7" box="[1148,1196,907,933]" pageId="11" pageNumber="12">type</typeStatus>
specimens, only 2.82 times longer than wide (127 ×45 μm) compared to 4.23 times longer than wide (338×80 μm) in the
<typeStatus id="603B882FFFEEFFFCFEEEFC28D11B1EBB" box="[1258,1306,943,969]" pageId="11" pageNumber="12">type</typeStatus>
specimens, and 0.36 times as long as anal somite compared to 0.76 times as long in the
<typeStatus id="603B882FFFEEFFFCFE00FC54D0351E9F" box="[1028,1076,979,1005]" pageId="11" pageNumber="12">type</typeStatus>
material. This difference in the dimension of the caudal ramus is tentatively interpreted here as intraspecific variation because no other significant difference was observed between the
<typeStatus id="603B882FFFEEFFFCF83DFB9CD6751947" box="[569,628,1051,1077]" pageId="11" pageNumber="12">types</typeStatus>
and the New Caledonian material. Material from both locations exhibits the identical armature of the mouthparts and legs 1-4.
