). These compounds are structurally similar, with a five-membered oxygen ring and C-2 oxidized to a carbonyl carbon. Compounds

and

have similar skeletons, in which an oxygen bridge forms between C-4 and C-7; these compounds are differentiated by the substituents at C-1 and C-13.
