) characterised by a thin longitudinal stripe running along dorsal centreline, usually from Th II to Abd IV. Dark bluish black transverse stripes on anterior and posterior margins of Th II, and posterior margin of Th III to Abd III (broadest in Abd II). On each side of Abd IV, four irregular, broad, separate, or connected patches. Abd IV posteriorly with a dorsomedial rectangular patch. Abd V with two posterolateral patches. Head with broad dark band between antenna bases also connecting to eye patches and often continued longitudinally beyond them, in some cases reaching the lateral posterior part of the head.
