We have not been able to locate the
<typeStatus id="461510C0137F4A56FD23AF040A3BF89B" box="[762,821,1832,1856]" pageId="2" pageNumber="583">types</typeStatus>
of this species, which are not present in the collection in which they were said to be deposited. However, the published drawings are of good enough quality to be able to associate examined specimens with this species. In addition to generic characters, the specific species characters for this species are upper surface of head with only few pale brown spots; vertex lacking any markings or striations; scutellum in mature adults with a distinctive spot beyond scutal suture; end of claval suture with distinctive brown spot.
