Subquadrate; tylus extending beyond antenniferous tubercles by half length; juga visible from above, not extending past antenniferous tubercles, not expanded laterally; eyes large and hemispheric; postocular tubercle not protuberant, nearly with contour of eye, indistinct; ocellar tubercles large, raised; interocellar distance longer than distance between ocelli and eye; antenniferous tubercles unarmed; antennal segments I and II subequal, III the shortest, IV the longest, little longer than II and III together; segments I and II robust, stout or I relatively robust and II slender; segment III robust, weakly clavate or uniformly elongate, slender; segment IV fusiform; buccula roundly, truncate, reaching mideye; rostrum reaching posterior margin of mesosoternum or just anterior border of metasternum; rostral segment II the longest, IV the shortest and I and III subequal; rostral segment I not extending past head.

Body widest through abdominal sterna IVV, and varying from relatively narrow to much wider than folded hemelytra; connexival segments IIIVII not spined posteroapically; abdominal spiracle IVVII closer to base of each segment than to apex, farther from lateral edge.

Head, pronotum, scutellum, clavus and corium with minute erect and decumbent silvey hairs; antennal segments IIII densely pubescent with decumbent hair-like setae; IV with tiny decumbent hairs; pro-, meso- and metasternum with short erect hair-like setae; pro-, meso- and metapleuron glabrous; abdominal sterna almost glabrous with short hair-like setae along middle third. Head impunctate; pronotum, clavus and corium densely punctate, each puncture small; scutellum striate with few punctures.
