Recognised by the elongate oval to oval body in males and the strongly oval body in females, the strongly appressed head, the frons with a flange-like hood, the relatively small ocelli placed near the eyes on the vertex, widely separated by a distance greater than three times their diameter in males and greater than five times their diameter in females.
