. Preliminary investigations have revealed a complicated picture within

and the genus is in need of revision. All of the Afrotropical species currently standing under the genus were described from West and Central Africa, and it is possible that this single male specimen from MSR, which constitutes a new country record and range extension for the genus, is an undescribed species. However, before any attempt is made to describe this taxon, the specific boundaries of the known taxa need to be established which is beyond the scope of this present work.
