Narrow, elongated, compressed dorso­ventrally with narrow flat lateral sides perpendicular to wide flat lateral sides (pill­box shaped), bluntly ovoid from top view (Figs 790, 791 &amp; 793), anterior pole truncated, wedge­shaped laterally (Fig. 794).

: Egg marked on all surfaces by flat, hexagonal cells with narrow, slightly elevated walls giving a netted appearance (Figs 791–795, 797). Aeropyles conspicuous, elevated, openings moderately small (Fig. 796), in two narrow bands encircling egg longitudinally along upper and lower edges of narrow lateral sides. Rosette cells slightly recessed; micropylar cell walls overlain by very narrow, shallow reticulum (Fig. 792). Chorion rough, generally shallowly wrinkled and pitted (Fig. 797), roughness more pronounced on narrow lateral sides, edges (Figs 796 &amp; 798).
