Frons finely, abundantly punctate; with dense yellow pubescence, except narrow glabrous central area, with long, erect, abundant yellowish-brown setae interspersed (lighter depending on light intensity). Vertex with sculpturing as on frons; area between antennal tubercles and anterior margin of upper eye lobes with dense yellow pubescence; area between upper eye lobes with pale yellow pubescence not obscuring integument; remaining surface of vertex and area behind upper eye lobes with dense yellow pubescence (denser than between antennal tubercles); with long, erect, moderately abundant yellowish-brown setae (lighter depending on light intensity). Area behind lower eye lobes finely, abundant punctate close to eye, somewhat rugose-punctate on remaining surface; with dense yellow pubescence close to eye, glabrous close to prothorax; with long, erect yellowish-brown setae on pubescent area (lighter depending on light intensity). Genae with yellow pubescence close to eye, slightly sparser toward clypeus, glabrous on apex, with long, erect yellowish-brown setae (lighter depending on light intensity), toward ventral surface. Antennal tubercles with pale yellow pubescence not obscuring integument centrally, dense, yellow anteriorly and posteriorly, with long, erect yellowish-brown setae (lighter depending on light intensity). Gulamentum smooth, with a few short yellow setae on wide posterior area, finely, abundantly punctate, with yellow pubescence interspersed with long, erect yellowish-brown setae (lighter depending on light intensity) on narrow anterior area. Postclypeus finely, abundantly punctate on wide central area, smooth laterally; with yellow pubescence close to frons, sparser toward anteclypeus and sides of wide central area, glabrous on smooth region; with long, erect yellowish-brown setae (lighter depending on light intensity). Labrum finely punctate close to anteclypeus, nearly smooth on remaining surface; with long, erect, moderately abundant pale yellow setae, denser laterally. Distance between upper eye lobes 0.88 times length of scape (0.44 times distance between outer margins of eyes); in frontal view, distance between lower eye lobes 0.94 times length of scape (0.47 times distance between outer margins of eyes). Antennae 0.95 times elytral length, slightly surpassing middle of elytra. Scape, pedicel and antennomeres III–VI with pale yellow pubescence not obscuring integument, except glabrous region of outer ventral surface, moderately short and dense yellowish setae on inner ventral surface of pedicel and antennomeres; remaining antennomeres with very short brown pubescence, with minute yellowish-white setae interspersed. Antennal formula (ratio) based on length of antennomere III: scape = 1.45; pedicel = 0.39; IV = 0.89; V = 1.00; VI = 0.95; VII = 0.95; VIII = 0.83; IX = 0.78; X = 0.72; XI = 1.15.
