Concernant sa répartition, l’ouvrage le signale de «Punta Artica, lac de Nino (non revu en 2000) puis des Pozzi di Rinosu au Bocca di Bavedda». Il s’avère qu’il est nettement plus répandu, puisqu’on le rencontre dans le secteur Cintu, d’où il n’était pas connu, qu’il est bien présent dans le Haut-Tavignano, à proximité du lac de Nino, ainsi que dans plusieurs autres localités du secteur Rotondu (en particulier au plateau d’Alzu d’où il est indiqué par Litardière en 1919) et qu’il existe de façon bien plus large dans le secteur Renosu. Compte-tenu de ces indications, il convient de le passer de la catégorie rare (R) à la catégorie peu fréquent (PF), changement de catégorie nettement indiqué si l’on considère ses effectifs du Cuscione, où plusieurs milliers de pieds sont visibles dès la mi-juillet sur l’ensemble des pelouses et des fruticées du plateau.
