Les colonies sont minces, blanches (

de diamètre. Leur contour dépend du substrat auquel elles adhèrent fortement. La surface des colonies vivantes est lisse, percée dorifices buccaux étoilés régulièrement espacés. Les ouvertures cloacales communes sont en simples trous. La cavité cloacale ne sétend quau niveau des thorax.

Les zoïdes fixés ont une coloration jaune pâle. Les thorax (

) mesurent 0,5 mm. Le siphon buccal est court à 6 lobes arrondis. Louverture cloacale est étroite (

) et bordée, par contraction elle peut former un tube court. Lopacité du manteau rend les stigmates difficiles à compter, il y en a 8 au moins dans le premier rang. Les organes thoraciques latéraux nont pas été vus. Le pédoncule oesophago-rectal est épaissi par le muscle rétracteur qui sen sépare loin du thorax ou qui peut être indépendant, mais toujours fort. La boucle intestinale est simple et droite avec un estomac rond (

). Le testicule en lentille recouvre le fond de la boucle digestive. Le spermiducte décrit 5 ou 6 tours. Lovaire a la position habituelle avec plusieurs ovocytes.

Deux larves seulement ont été trouvées dans la couche basale des colonies (

), proches des abdomens. Le tronc mesure seulement 0,3 mm. Les 3 papilles adhésives sont jointives et bordées de chaque côté de 4 vésicules allongées, très serrées. Les larves ne sont pas gemmipares.

) ont des tailles et des formes variées. Les plus gros, de

de diamètre, sont constitués de nombreux rayons concentriques en baguettes, dautres forment des boules denses hérissées de pointes. Tous les intermédiaires existent.

Ce sont: une cavité cloacale commune limitée à la région des thorax, un siphon cloacal étroit, une larve très petite avec des papilles adhésives et des vésicules antérieures serrées les unes contre les autres et séparées de la masse viscérale par un fort étranglement.

Les colonies sont encroûtantes de

dépaisseur une fois fixées. La surface est lisse, percée par des orifices buccaux denses, étoilés. En quelques endroits lun des lobes buccaux est plus épais mais ne forme pas de papille saillante en surface. Les cavités cloacales communes sont très étendues au niveau des thorax qui sont inclus dans des brides de tunique isolées. Les abdomens et les larves sont contenus dans la couche basale de la tunique. Les zoïdes de petite taille sont contractés. Le siphon buccal est court, cylindrique à 6 lobes. Louverture cloacale est large sans languette.Le thorax (
