<paragraph pageId="139" pageNumber="140">This subspecies ranges from the west edge of the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in southeastern Alaska to the Great Slake Lake in Northwest Territories, south to northern New Mexico, northern Arizona, central Nevada, and the lower eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada in California, east to western South Dakota and western Nebraska [see Kavanaugh 1979b: Fig. 4].</paragraph>
