. Color of cuticle pale golden brown, entire body covered with bright metallic green and pale blue scales except white pearlescent scales on abdominal ventrites 15 and on ventral surface of legs. Scales flat, not margined. Elytral setae very fine, inconspicuous, completely arched, uniserial on all intervals.
<emphasis id="B969CC58DB4CD37762E21A1CFED1FACC" bold="true" box="[205,265,1336,1357]" pageId="4">Head:</emphasis>
Beak about as long as wide (at base of eyes), sides subparallel from base to apicad of scrobes. Dorsal surface of beak with medial line moderately to deeply impressed from interantennal line to frons. Epistoma narrow, extending to interantennal line; posterior margin of epistoma V-shaped, set with row of vibrissae; anterior edge of epistoma with deep, median indentation. Scrobe deep, narrow, gently curved ventrally. Antenna with club approximately twice as long as wide, segments somewhat loose. Eye moderate in size and convexity, slightly elongate.
<emphasis id="B969CC58DB4CD37762DD1979FE9AF9F3" bold="true" box="[242,322,1629,1650]" pageId="4">Thorax:</emphasis>
Prothorax about as long as wide, with distinct basal and apical constrictions, sides gently rounded between constrictions, disc only feebly convex, median line unmarked. Pronotum very slightly produced anteriorly over base of head. Distinct cluster of pale, golden postocular vibrissae arising from the unmodified margin of pronotum behind eyes of which the longest are ventral, length of vibrissae progressively shorter dorsally. Elytra subcylindrical, 2.93.0 times longer than pronotum, sides slightly divergent to about apical third, thence rounded to apex; apex slightly attenuated. Humeri distinct. Elytral intervals equal, flat or nearly so. Striae set with small, distinct punctures. Elytral declivity set at about 45° angle, not abrupt.
<emphasis id="B969CC58DB4CD37766721EE8FB4BFE60" bold="true" box="[1117,1171,460,481]" pageId="4">Legs:</emphasis>
Fore femur strongly swollen in male, moderately swollen in female; fore tibia slender, feebly bowed, with 58 small, widely spaced teeth on inner edge. Tarsal claws free. Distance between fore coxae approximately width of antennal club. Ventrite 5 triangular in shape with apex narrowly rounded, slightly projected ventrally in female; in male with apex broadly rounded, midline slightly raised towards apex with paralateral depressions.
<emphasis id="B969CC58DB4CD37766641D9FFCD2FD6B" bold="true" pageId="4">Female genitalia:</emphasis>
Coxites with ventral baculi short, about 1/2 length of ventrite 5. Vagina in basal broad portion with single, fine, well-sclerotized rod about 1/2 length of abdominal ventrites 15, interior surfaces appearing lightly sclerotized, in distal narrow portion with multiple rods becoming distinct beyond apex of single basal rod, distal rods not well-sclerotized. Bursa copulatrix very short, spermathecal duct at apex of distal vaginal rods, duct tube slender, about 2/3 as long as vagina. Spermatheca with arm at right angle to swollen base. Sternite 8 with apodeme straight, fine, slightly longer than basal vaginal rod.
<emphasis id="B969CC58DB4CD37761BF1B30FBFFFBA8" bold="true" box="[912,1063,1044,1065]" pageId="4">Male genitalia:</emphasis>
Penis very long, slender, slightly curved ventrally; apex truncate, slightly reflexed dorsally; apodemes of penis slightly longer than half length of penis; internal sac with very long, fine, slender flagellum extending almost to apex of apodemes of penis.
