1 L3 encapsulated in fish hosts, mostly in hypaxial musculature; six inner labial papillae single and button-like, with central pore-like depression; outer six labial papillae twice as large as the inner, four of them single and two double. Male L3: mean 5.9 (range 4.17.4) long; width at oesophago-intestinal junction 0.15 (0.110.19). Female L3: 6.5 (5.18.6) long; width at oesophago-intestinal junction 0.18 (0.160.20); vulva just behind oesophago-intestinal valve. Intestinal region of live L3 red in colour.................................................................................... *

Outer labial papillae double. Male L3: 21.3 (12.029.7) long; width at oesophago-intestinal junction 0.22 (0.140.30). Female L3: 21.5 (11.534.8) long; width at oesophago-intestinal junction 0.21 (0.100.30). Male L4: 55.1 (32.266.0) long; width at oesophago-intestinal junction 0.35 (0.290.40). Female L4: 69.5 (45.183.4) long; width at oesophago-intestinal junction 0.42 (0.370.46); vulva just behind intestine-rectal junction. Live L3 white or pink in colour, live L4 bright red in colour........... *
