. Mouth a dorso-ventral slit, directed antero-dorsally, surrounded by cuticular collarette bearing conspicuous or inconspicuous “teeth”. A dorsal cephalic swelling (tubercle) more or less pronounced. Oesophagus with three pairs of longitudinal rods and serrated plates diverging in pseudobuccal capsule, leaving between them thick cuticular plates separated by narrow sutures forming a characteristic pattern. Vulva with conspicuous lips. Male with ventral pre-cloacal sucker. Spicules equal or subequal, straight or bent. Short gubernaculum. Eleven pairs caudal papillae.
