): Oval, rather elongated; compressed dorsoventrally. Widest in posterior half. Dorsal coloration black; head, pronotum, embolium, legs, some spots on scutellum, and connexiva yellowish brown. Ventrally covered mostly with short setae; anterior half of the body lighter than posterior half, abdomen black.

: Ventrally depressed as in all the species of the genus. Yellowish brown, with two parallel rows of scattered spots on midline, becoming darker anteriorly. Three black spots along inner margin of eyes. Surface not smooth but slightly shagreened and finely punctate. Golden setae along inner margin of eyes without regular pattern and along anterior edge near labrum. Eyes black, inner margins strongly convergent in anterior quarter and almost straight in posterior three-quarters. Labrum dark yellowish brown, anterior edge rounded and covered with numerous golden setae.

: Pronotal width increases posteriorly. Anterior, posterior, and lateral margins almost straight. Yellowish brown with darker brown stripe or band on posterior margin and on anterior margin next to head; with dispersed black spots laterally and two elongated and curved black markings, each aligned with inner margin of eye. Finely perforated with transverse wrinkles on anterior margin. Golden setae scattered on surface, especially along lateral margins, emerging from small black spots. Anterolateral and posterolateral corners rounded, latter not exceeding posterior margin.

Anterior margin, faintly convex; with two yellowish brown spots on each side of midline. Lateral margins with anterior half convex and posterior half sinuate.

Base and anterior third with dark yellowish brown coloration, with some isolated setae near base. Hemelytral commissure dark brown, slightly elevated, with yellowish brown lateral margins. Embolium perforated, yellowish brown on anterior two-thirds, posterior third dark; external margin with row of thin setae; rounded, arched, following contour of hemelytra and membrane. Corium black, punctate, with long, scattered setae; junction with membrane irregular. Membrane black, elongated, punctate irregularly with small black spots; posterior part relatively narrow.

Posterior margin of segments V VI with horizontal row of flattened setae. Posterolateral corners of connexiva blunt and rounded, not acute or sharply produced, in ventral view. Connexiva yellowish brown with setae along lateral margin, becoming longer on posterolateral corner. Posterolateral corner exceeding posterior margin of sternites IV V, but rounded. Femur II light yellowish brown, with anterior margin covered with long, soft setae; anteroventral margin with row of longer, thicker setae; posterior margin with longitudinal row of thick, stiff, short, and long setae; posterior margin with short and long setae. Tibia II with short, stout, black setae along anterior and posterior margins; with fine, long setae on anterior margin. Tarsus II bisegmented, with setae arranged similarly to tibia II, with two claws similar in size. Femur III with row of short, similar-sized spines on posterior margin, the rest similar to femur II. Tibia III similar to tibia II, but with thin row of long swimming hairs along posterior margin and thick row on anterior margin. Tarsus III bisegmented, with setae arranged similarly to tibia III, with small spines on leading margin. Two claws similar in size.

Only the traits that differ from the

are herein described. Body smaller in size and narrower; more dorsoventrally compressed. Embolium and hemelytra lighter in color with dark reddish brown tinge. Connexiva light brownish yellow. Coxae, meso- and metanotum with lighter coloration. Sternites VI VIII covered with flattened long setae, more glabrous on their midline. Posterolateral corner of abdominal segment IV slightly exceeding posterior margin of sternite. Sternite V with notch on midline of posterior margin, this sternite longitudinally divided into two along midline. Male genitalia were not extracted in here, because since the author agrees with the opinion of López-Ruf (2004) in her redescription of
