This species can be differentiated from its congeners by the forewing with the basal half of the costal margin conspicuously arched and the distal half gradually narrowed to a bluntly rounded apex, and by the vinculum bearing two pairs of lateral lobes in the male genitalia.

) wingspan 15.0 mm. Head brown. Ocellus absent. Labial palpus with first segment dark brown on outer surface, greyish white on inner surface, second and third segments missing. Antenna with scape yellowish brown; flagellum blackish brown ringed with yellowish brown on dorsal surface, yellowish brown and setose on ventral surface. Thorax and tegula blackish brown, with shining blue reflection; mesothoracic anepisternum without hair pencils in male. Forewing with basal half of costal margin arched conspicuously, distal half gradually narrowed to bluntly rounded apex; broad ill-defined blackish brown band extending along above fold to distal 1/7 of wing, with shining bluish violet reflection; greyish white fascia from costal 6/7 to above tornus, scattered with orange and blackish brown scales from fascia to termen; fringe blackish brown except orange in basal half and blackish brown in distal half around apex. Hindwing and fringe brown. Legs dark brown on outer surface, with shining ochreous yellow reflection; fore- and midlegs greyish white on inner surface; hindleg yellowish white on inner surface, tarsus yellowish white at apex of each tarsomere on outer surface.

). Uncus semiovate, anterior margin concave deeply in semicircle on ventral surface, posterior margin bluntly rounded, lateral margin with dense strong setae ventrally. Gnathos stout, curved at basal 2/5, sharp at apex; culcitula semicircular, densely spinous. Valva longer than tegumen-uncus complex, narrow in basal half, broadened from middle to before apex, apex bluntly rounded; valvella digitiform, setose apically, about 1/3 length of valva. Setose patch small, clavate. Vinculum as high as length of tegumen-uncus complex; with two pairs of lateral lobes, each about 1/4 length of valva: one pair arising from lateral 1/3 of vinculum arm, clavate, setose, narrowed from distal 1/3 to sharp apex; another pair arising from lateral 2/3 of vinculum arm, cornute, narrowed from base to sharp apex. Saccal region broad, slightly arched medially on anterior margin. Sicae from lateral side of saccal region, banded, reaching basal 1/3 of vinculum arm (left lobe broken). Aedeagus fusiform, broadest at zone, narrowly rounded at apex; five sclerotized lobes from zone: two lobes of different length in left side, clavate, sharp apically, shorter lobe about 2/5 length of aedeagus, longer lobe reaching apex of aedeagus; two lobes of different length in right side, longer lobe thin, clavate, reaching before apex of aedeagus, shorter lobe triangular, about 1/2 length of long one; one small lobe arising from ventral surface of zone, clavate, curved at middle.
