Currently, this genus comprises three species, of which

<emphasis id="B921EAD1FFBBFFF0FC97DD1FFDCCF099" box="[797,908,1901,1927]" italics="true" pageId="15" pageNumber="216">brevipilus</emphasis>
</taxonomicName>
is not recorded but likely present in northern states, close to its
<typeStatus id="54EE8861FFBBFFF0FEE0DDE0FFDAF0B2" box="[362,410,1938,1964]" pageId="15" pageNumber="216">type</typeStatus>
locality.

considered there was little advantage in distinguishing this monotypic genus in view of the many characters shared with the other two species. Thus, members of this genus have the antennae 6- or 8-segmented, with segments III and IV each having a long basal stem and a forked sense cone (

). Abdominal tergite II has numerous recurved microtrichia anterolaterally, and the setae on the fore wing veins are fusiform (
