The holotype female of

seems be lost. The description suggests close affinities with either

or
<taxonomicName id="F20B0B27B2DA1488CDDD1DE1C647384F" lsidName="P. bradleyi" pageId="15" pageNumber="16" rank="species" species="bradleyi">P. bradleyi</taxonomicName>
(Keyserling, 1887) (both of which, in addition to a
<taxonomicName id="60DA10DD980AB86020E1059EEE76F5BB" lsidName="P. patricius" pageId="15" pageNumber="16" rank="species" species="patricius">P. patricius</taxonomicName>
Joseph &amp; Framenau, 2012, occur in Tasmania (

)), but neither of these species can be confirmed as a synonym of
<taxonomicName id="39F8D2578EA367585BD35361A0C6FC6E" lsidName="A. mortoni" pageId="15" pageNumber="16" rank="species" species="mortoni">A. mortoni</taxonomicName>
with certainty. In addition, none of the copies of the volume that I was able to study contained the figure plate, which, as figure 1, was supposed to show the epigyne of this species. Not being able to undoubtedly identify this species based on the
<pageBreakToken id="27A1D6DF3581D8EC8A48423CD78F589F" pageId="16" pageNumber="17" start="start">original</pageBreakToken>
description alone, I consider the species-group name
