Head and thorax black with light-colored marks. Fore wing with distinct infuscations. Basal membrane and hind wing jugum mostly gray. Male opercula mostly fuscous; extending beyond anterior one-third of sternite III. Male abdomen much wider than mesonotum. Timbal cover comparatively large, with gap between timbal covers about as wide as timbal cover. Uncal lobe evenly narrow.

Head black with a pair of ochraceous spots on posterior margin of head. Distance between lateral ocelli and eyes larger than three times distance between lateral ocelli. Postclypeus castaneous with black fasciae along transverse grooves which are connected medially to form a pair of longitudinal black fascia. Anteclypeus black with median longitudinal castaneous fascia. Lorum black with ochraceous margin. Rostrum extending slightly beyond posterior margin of hind coxae. Labrum blackish. Mentum ochraceous. Labium ochraceous but fuscous on apex. Gena black. Antennae dark brown.

Pronotal collar ochraceous with two pairs of black spots at lateral inner corners and a slightly black margin at lateral posterior corners in the male. Lateral pronotal collar not dentate but more or less slightly crenellated. Mesonotum black with 6 ochraceous spots: a pair of oblique triangular spots on anterior parts of submedian sigilla, a pair of postero-submedian spots, two pairs of longitudinally arranged small spots on anterior part of lateral sigilla, a pair of large antero-lateral spots, and a pair of postero-lateral spots. Parapsidal sutures brownish. Cruciform elevation castaneous with black tips on arms. Metanotum ochraceous. Thoracic sternites ochraceous but basisternum 2 black with median band ochraceous.</paragraph>

Fore femora holding three spines with a tertiary spine very small.</paragraph>

Wings: Fore wings hyaline for the male but slightly tinged with yellowish for the female. Median and cubitus anterior veins originating in two distinct points at basal cell. Radius and subcostal vein ochraceous. Radial, radiomedial, medial, and mediocubital crossveins with infuscations, but in male, infuscations on medial and mediocubital crossveins indistinct. Roundish infuscation present on each hind margin of radius posterior, median 1–4, and cubitus anterior 1 and 2 veins. Coloration of basal veins and distal veins predominantly dark brown, with eight apical cells. Basal cell scarcely tinged. Basal membrane and hind wing jugum gray.

Sternites III through VII brownish in the female but dark in the male except sternite III brown. Timbal cover globose, with gap between timbal covers about as wide as timbal cover. Timbal concealed with timbal cover in dorsal view.</paragraph>

Apex of pygofer without dorsal beak but with a large median notch. Uncal lobes bifurcate and curved downwards, long in even breadth, with apices rounded, parallel, touching each other medially. Basal and upper lobes absent.</paragraph>
