B) oblong-oval, slightly convex dorsally, shining, closely covered with yellowish-white setae. Coloration of body brown, but antennae and legs pale brown.

Eyes large, weakly prominent; the distance between eyes about 2.5 times as long as the maximum diameter of an eye. Pronotum granulate as on head; front and lateral margins straight; antero- and postero-lateral corners about 120º, slightly projecting anteriorly in anterior corners; posterior margin bisinuous; PW/PL 2.11. Scutellar shield small, equilaterally triangular, densely punctate. Elytra oblong, widest at the middle, densely punctate; each elytron furnished with three indistinct costae; humeral parts lightly projecting; apices right-angled; EL/EW 1.60; EL/PL 4.21; EW/PW 1.25; TL/EW 1.98.</paragraph>
