Our Mayo River basin voucher specimens exhibit the diagnostic characteristics of the species: uropatagium sparsely haired; rostrum elevated (tilted up); weakly developed impression of the optic nerve in the orbit; maxillary toothrow nearly parallel; caniniform P5; broad talon on M1; and presence of two lower molars (Marques- Aguiar, 2008;
