. This species has had economic impact on citrus crops in the neotropics for many years, but it only seems to have developed an economic profile in the

and Austro­oriental Regions since the 1990s (observations on material present in BMNH collection). It is to be expected that the USNM would have heavy New World representation in its collection. However, an early presence of
