Described from one female taken by myself July 20, 1936, by the Oronoque River near the junction with the New River, British Guiana. The ant was with her fungus garden, labout 10 mm. long, 2 mm. (deep, and 8 mm. wide, in a small cavity beneath rotten bark on a living tree at an elevation of 4 feet. No other
|
