. Claw divaricated. Pronotum broader than long, with a small, more or less spiny tubercle on the middle of each lateral margin. Mesosternum with one or two tubercles. Antennae elevensegmented, of about the same length as the body of the male and the female (from apex of mandibles to apex of elytra). Scape with a notch at the apical external margin. Antennomere 3 is the longest segment (equal to the length of the scape in some species) and is slightly indented at the apex; antennomere 4 is more noticeably indented and is flattened; antennomeres 5 to 7 are completely flattened and project at the apex; antennomere 8 is variable; the last three antennomeres are cylindrical and of nearly equal length. Scutellum small. Elytra elongated, convex and rounded at the apex.
