Four of the five available specimens are to varying degrees teneral, which may account for some of the variation given in the color description. The reddish to reddish-fuscous clypeus is a useful character in recognizing this species. The maxillary plate is not darker than the mandibular plate. The setae on the dorsum are short and inconspicuous; very few setae are present on the hemelytral membrane.</paragraph>
