Face with silver/white pile. Mystax with abundant, long, white hair. Genae with long white hair. Occipital fringe of shorter white hair merging into stout black postocular bristles. Black ocellar hair; dense white orbital hair; long white facial hair. Antenna brown, gray pollinose; style apex “spear-shaped” (wide medially with tapered apex) with distinct apical micro segment.

light to dark gray with short black evenly dispersed acrostical hair. Paramedian stripes and lateral spots well defined. Pleura covered in silvergray pollen and sparse white hair; dorsal anepisternal hair black. Chaetotaxy with: 2 notopleural, 2 supraalar, and 23 postalar bristles. Posterior dorsocentral hair long, black with 34 black bristles. Long white and black scutellar hair; 58 strong black marginal bristles (both sides combined); white marginal bristles.
