<paragraph id="8BAD369E8A50FFD6AC80FA81EAE0D80B" blockId="16.[700,1229,1303,1741]" pageId="16" pageNumber="17">DESCRIPTION OF MATURE OOCYTE (figs. 25– 28): Under both stereomicroscopic and SEM examination, dorsal surface of chorion irregularly uneven (fig. 25); opercular rim with edges rounded, slightly elevated; opercular disc with paired indistinct uneven protrusions; micropylar aperture of rim on anterior edge of rim; micropylar cluster of pores not visible on latestage mature oocytes because it is obscured by follicular debris but distinct on somewhat earlier stage mature oocyte (fig. 28).</paragraph>
