). Kiefferʼs

are lost and the species had not been recognized since, so our understanding of it was previously limited to information provided in the original description. With the find of a single male in a Malaise trap sample from Bavaria,

may now be regarded as rediscovered. Its identification was made possible by Kieffers illustration of the male terminalia (
