Vertex with broad longitudinal piceous median fascia, sometimes two or four fuscous spots on lateral margin (Plate I: A–B); face with black markings (Plate I: D). Pronotum with indistinct longitudinal shadings, one central pale carinate line, sometimes with indistinct lateral pale carinate lines and with a series of transverse linear dark spots before anterior margin (Plate I: A–B). Scutellum usually with piceous spot near each basal angle (Plate I: A–B).</paragraph>
