Male. Body uniformly brown. Maxillary palp formula (I,II)-IV-III-V, 3rd segment of each maxillary palp originating subapically on lateral surface of segment 2. Forewing length 7.5 mm; discoidal cell and median cells closed; apical forks 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 present. Hind wing discoidal cell open; apical forks 2 and 5 present.

Male genitalia. Sternite IX semicircular, flatter on anterior margins and on posterior margins near gonopods; tergite IX narrow, parallel-sided and obliquely directed, forming continuation of sternite IX, lateral ends each meeting at fulcrum with cercus and paraproctal complex. Segment X nearly membranous, large, nearly triangular, covered with microtrichia; membranous distally, covering dorsum of phallic apparatus. Cerci each broad at base, elongate, distally slender, as long as dorsal paraproctal process; 2 times longer than paraproctal subphallic sclerite. Paraproctal complexes fused with cerci; dorsal, sclerotized, spine-like paraproctal processes regularly coiled, slightly elongate vertically, each with distal part projecting to tip of cercus.
