) as “Syria septentrionalis” (Northern Syria). Syntypes were collected from several locations. Therefore I have designated the only male, without right middle leg, labelled as “Syrie sept.” in the MHNG as lectotype (see Hollier 2012: 308). Additional data may be seen in the label of the specimens of syntypes preserved in the MfN which are very probably a part of specimens collected from the locality of lectotype by Dr. F. Leuthner. Therefore Djebel Akra [Kılıç Dağ] is the type locality of this species. This location, Kılıç Dağı (=Keldağ=Cebel Akra=Djebel Akra=Mt. Cassius), is now in Hatay Province of Turkey. The paralectotypes are in the MHNG, NMW and MfN (see Material examined above and Hollier 2012).

<paragraph id="4A5336B3FFA74F10FF00FF1B431CFD40" blockId="65.[151,1436,151,680]" pageId="65" pageNumber="66">One female preserved in the MfN was labelled as “Angora” [Ankara, N. of central Turkey], but the label must be wrong. It was also marked with the number “2063”. Two more females in the same collection from Chrenberg have the number “2062”, and probably came from the same or close localities in Syria.</paragraph>
